The Center for Statistical Sciences at Brown University has an immediate opening for a biostatistician to work on research projects originating from the Center of Behavioral and Preventive Medicine. The position offers excellent opportunities for professional growth in a stimulating research environment. Candidates should have a master's degree in biostatistics, statistics, or biometry. A master's degree in epidemiology, health services research, applied mathematics or a related field may be sufficient if appropriate statistical course work has been completed. Candidates must exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills. Experience in biomedical data analysis, preferably in the area of smoking cessation and working knowledge of Splus, SAS and/or Stata in both Windows and UNIX environment are highly desirable.
