Professional work involving analytical tasks related to demographic and economic research supporting County planning activities and operations. The employee will be responsible for preparing demographic analysis, collecting and assembling economic, demographic and other data, providing data for projects and studies associated with the comprehensive plan, and providing information to the public. Tasks include preparing work programs and representing the division at meetings with other agencies. Performs related work as required.
Master's Degree in urban planning, geography, statistics, economics or related field; or any equivalent combination of training and experience required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience and/or course work in demographic analysis and population modeling. Spreadsheet and database experience preferred.
