Credit Policy Amalyst/Modeler
This position resides in the Consumer Credit Risk Management Department
of Bank of America. The position's responsibilities include monitoring
and managing risk associated with consumer credit portfolios. For example,
one objective of the position is to determine which loan applicants have
the lowest probability of defaulting on a loan. To manage risk, the analyst
will design reports to support analysis of account, customer, and household
risk profiles,conduct ad-hoc analysis to support risk management and credit
policy decisions, and present the results and recommendations to senior
management. In this job, analytical tools will vary in complexity from
simple frequency distributions to advanced statistical techniques such
as generalized linear models, multivariate analysis techniques, and neural
networks. To conduct analysis, the candidate will need to be able to access
and query a multitude of databases and create and maintain their own data
sets. The ability to manage several projects simultaneously is essential.
Job requirements include: Master's degree (preferred) in Statistics, Economics,
Finance and other quantitative field. Strong analytical, logical reasoning,
problem solving, and communication skills. Experience analyzing real world
data. Knowledge of SAS, Excel, and Word. Experience with SAS Enterprise
