Professor of Applied Statistics (Level E)

Applications are invited for the position of Professor of Applied Statistics from women and men who have an outstanding record in scholarly research and teaching. The position is located in the School of Finance and Applied Statistics which has primary responsibility for undergraduate teaching and research coverage in actuarial studies, business statistics, finance and statistics. It also plays a central role in graduate teaching and supervision in the areas of Finance and Statistics.

The successful applicant will be expected to provide leadership in maintaining and developing the School's performance in research, teaching and to participate in management including Head of School duties.

The position is available immediately with a negotiable commencement date.

Salary: $92,859 plus generous superannuation provisions; travel and removal expenses
