Research Associate

The Division of Biometry at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and the Arkansas Cancer Research Center (ACRC) have an immediate opening for a Research Associate with broad experience in clinical cancer research. The successful candidate will work with researchers under direction of the faculty of the Division of Biometry. Primary responsibilities are to support collaborative research activities with the ongoing and developing research programs of the ACRC. The ACRC supports a world-renowned program in multiple myeloma and transplantation in addition to a number of developing programs including novel interventions in breast cancer. The UAMS Division of Biometry is a dynamic and growing division engaged in collaborative research activities throughout the campus. UAMS offers competitive salaries and outstanding fringe benefits.

Qualifications for this position include an M.S. degree in biostatistics/statistics, a strong commitment to collaborative clinical research as evidenced by documented experience, strong computing skills including SAS and database experience, and outstanding oral and written communication skills.
