Assoc Dir Statistical Programm
Identify department-wide needs for standards, software, and processes.
Design, budget, develop, and implement solutions. Recruit and supervise
regular and temporary programming staff (including other management staff).
Manage relationships with the IS department and outside vendors (including
CROs). 10+ years SAS, 5+ years UNIX and Windows NT, including use of scripting
languages, 5+ years significant personnel management, 5+ years pharmaceutical
industry clinical trials. Software engineering in accordance with software
development life-cycle methodology and validation techniques. Regulatory
submissions (electronic highly desirable). Ability to lead staff in a matrix
management environment over several therapeutic areas. Conceptual understanding
of relational database management systems, applications, and operations.Understanding
of distributed systems architecture and FDA and other regulatory agency
requirements regarding computer environments. Good verbal and written communication.
Master's degree in computer sicence or management information systems or
equivalent practical work experience.
