Position Title: Postdoctoral Trainee in Genomics and Cancer

Duties & Responsibilities: The candidate will engage in genomic research with faculty in the Department of Biostatistics as well as faculty in the Lineberger Cancer Center and UNC. Projects will include analysis of gene expression data, analysis of NGS data as well as several projects in imaging genetics, where the goal is to develop statistical models for imaging data using genetic data as covariates.

Position Qualifications: PhD or equivalent degree in Statistics, Biostatistics or related quantitative disciplines. Must be a permanent resident or citizen of the U.S. Stong programming skills and knowledge of high-throughput sequencing data is highly desirable. Prior expertise in genomics is preferred but not required.

Salary Range: Salary commensurate with experience
