Position Title: PROFESSOR OF BIOSTATISTICS IN RESIDENCE

Duties & Responsibilities: The Division of Biostatistics at the University of California, Berkeley, is inviting applications for a Professor in Residence position (at any level). In addition, the School of Public Health seeks candidates whose research, teaching, or service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to diversity and inclusion in higher education. The appointment is to begin Fall 2014 and may last up to three years. Description of duties: Experience in teaching, and demonstrated ability and interest in both methodological and applied biostatistical research, in areas such as clinical trials, epidemiology, and genomics. In addition to maintaining strong methodological and collaborative research activities, duties include teaching at least one course per semester and mentoring graduate students.

Position Qualifications: Applicants must have a doctoral degree or equivalent in Biostatistics, Statistics or a related field by the hire date of 07/01/2014.

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience.
