Position Title: Faculty Position in Biostatistics

Duties & Responsibilities: The Section of Clinical Statistics, which is housed in the vibrant Department of Health Sciences Research, Division of Biomedical Statistics and Informatics, is seeking a motivated and talented biostatistician looking to establish a successful career in a collaborative research environment or a more senior investigator seeking opportunities to further develop leadership skills within the field. A variety of teaching opportunities exist through Mayo Clinic's Center for Clinical and Translational Sciences (CCaTS). Methodological research and visibility within the field of biostatistics is expected; however, the primary measures of success are more closely aligned with a successful and productive collaborative research career.

Position Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a PhD in biostatistics or closely related field and at least one year post graduate experience. Individuals with demonstrated collaboration success are encouraged to apply. Clinical trial and comparative effectiveness research expertise is desirable. The successful candidate will be expected to lead a team of allied health (BS and MS-trained statisticians and programmers) and interact with collaborators across a broad spectrum of clinical and translational research.
