Position Title: Intern/Associate Data Specialist

Duties & Responsibilities: Associate / Intern Data Specialist We’re searching for an Associate Data Specialist to support the development of databases which power complex market research studies for our clients. This position will report to the Manager of Data Management, and will be part of a talented team of data specialists. On client projects, the senior data specialist will work in a cross-functional team that includes members from Strategy, Analytical Insights, and more. If you have a passion for data development, data quality, and data automation we would like to learn more about you. Please note this is not a typical ETL or data analyst position. You will have the opportunity to grow in a number of areas to hone your business, technical, and management skills: * Client Delivery: Lead the critical role of data management to successfully deliver products and insights for our clients and ensure robust and efficient data integration and updates for long term client engagements * Innovation: Help drive profitable growth by creating and improving processes and tools, and contribute to best practices and internal development projects * Data and Project Management: Focus on optimal data development and data integrity. Manage work streams and priorities for distinct projects * Methodology Development: Contribute to MarketShare’s portfolio of internal tools and client facing products providing new analytical functionality and process efficiency * Interdisciplinary Leadership: Interact with clients and internal teams to provide and improve our end-to-end solution * Marketing: Gain a deep understanding of how marketing works across a wide range of channels, clients, and industries * Culture: Promote our collaborative and positive working environment and share knowledge and experience with other team members
