Position Title: Scientist (Biostatistician)

Duties & Responsibilities: The individual is responsible for initiating and maintaining research collaborations with Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center (SCCC) basic scientists, clinicians, and epidemiologist, providing statistical expertise for cancer research. The individual will also work collaboratively with members of the division on research or development projects.

Position Qualifications: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degrees in Biostatistics or Statistics or other related field. A minimum of ten years of experience is required. Applicant must have post-doctoral level work in planning biomedical research studies and analyzing data from them, including clinical trials, laboratory investigations, and epidemiologic studies; knowledge of modern statistical computing methods, including SAS and R; knowledge of survival analysis, logistic regression, mixed models, repeated measures analysis, and multivariate regression methods. Excellent English skills (both verbal and written) required.
