The Department of Population Health of NYU School of Medicine was newly founded in 2012, and consists of core areas of healthful behavior change, comparative effectiveness and decision science, behavioral economics and health policy, epidemiology, biostatistics and medical ethics.

Position Title: Biostatistician/Postdoc Fellow

Duties & Responsibilities: The Biostatistician or Postdoctoral Fellow will engage in collaborative research and methodology developments in survival analysis and high-dimensional data analysis, including the application on building and evaluating risk prediction models.

Position Qualifications: Competitive applicants should have an advanced degree, preferably a Ph.D., in statistics or biostatistics or other quantitative area. Strong communication and computational skills are required. A successful candidate should have strong interest and motivation in statistical research.

Salary Range: based on qualification and negotiable
