Position Title: Post-doctoral research fellow

Duties & Responsibilities: A POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER POSITION is available in the Department of Biotatistics and Center for Computational Molecular Biology at BROWN University. The research focus will be statistical methodology for high dimensional inference, with application in general RNAseq data and/or phylogenetic analysis of gene expression. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and independent, will have a strong background in genomics, good skills in statistical computing.

Position Qualifications: - Ph.D. in biostatistics/statistics, bioinformatics, applied mathematics, or a related field. - Fluency in probabilistic modeling and computational statistics. - Proficiency in R required. Familiarity with Bioconductor a plus. - Research experience related to genomics.
