Position Title: Statistical Research Associate I (ML 25186)

Duties & Responsibilities: SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES The incumbent works under immediate technical direction to prepare data for analysis, conduct routine statistical analyses, and document data sets and analyses. JOB DUTIES May include some or all of the following: 1.Provide statistical analysis of project data. 2.Prepare written summaries and tables of results for use in project reports and scientific papers. 3.Provide input into data collection, management, and analysis systems design. 4.Assist in the development of quality assurance procedures for on-going data collection and analysis. 5.Perform statistical analyses using packaged statistical programs. 6.Provide statistical consultation with collaborating staff. 7.Perform other duties as necessary.

Position Qualifications: Master's degree in Biostatistics or Statistics. Background in statistical computing. Familiarity with statistical packages used within the department/ project. This classification is intended as entry level for newly graduated MS statisticians, or those having minimal (6-12 months) related experience.
