Position Title:
Postdoctoral Fellow
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Division of Biostatistics in the Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at University of Pennsylvania invites applications for a postdoctoral fellow position in statistical genetics. The successful candidate will work in Dr. Rui Feng's research group on NIH-funded projects related to genome-wide association studies, copy number variation analysis, and sequence data analysis. The candidate will develop and implement statistical and computational methods for problems arising from genetic studies.
Position Qualifications:
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in statistics, biostatistics, bioinformatics, computer sciences or other quantitative fields. Programming skills in C/C++ (or Perl) and at least one statistical package are required. The ability to work independently is a must. Experience in genetic analysis is strongly desired but not required.
