Position Title:
Research Program Manager
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Research Program Manager in collaboration with the Director and Program faculty, will assign, supervise, and track allocation of faculty and staff to individual research projects, including data analysis and data management. Will oversee and prospectively manage research staff work flow to ensure timely and high quality task completion and effective distribution of work. Responsible for managing documents, related logs and files for project allocation in the program and updating and maintaining all research projects through the Project Tracking database. Is accountable for obtaining all information needed from faculty and staff to complete progress reports, annual reports, and other reports as needed in a timely manner. Resolve issues directly and when needed, with the consultation of the Director. Works closely with personnel to develop and maintain timelines and communicates regularly with clients. Responsible for preparing and providing administration and clients with financial reports, budgets and project reports as requested.
Position Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, or related plus 2 years business management experience, including 1 year research experience. Must have 1 year supervisory experience and be proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Access. If not already certified, Grants Management Certification must be completed within 6 months hire.
