Position Title: Postdoctoral Fellow

Duties & Responsibilities: A postdoctoral position is available in the Department of Biostatistics, Columbia University. The position requires development of statistical methods with applications to high-dimensional genetic data. Examples include developing statistical and computational methods for population-based and family-based designs for sequencing data. Application areas include the genetics of psychiatric disorders.

Position Qualifications: Strong quantitative skills are required. The ideal applicant should have the following qualifications: 1. PhD in statistics, biostatistics, computer science or other quantitative field. 2. Strong programming skills in R and/or C. 3. Strong quantitative background with a strong interest in applications to genetics.
