Company Information: The Division consists of 21 faculty and 15 staff scientists, post-doctoral fellows, and students. Last year, the Division was the recipient of approximately 25 externally sponsored projects. The Division maintains close ties to many UNM departments and centers including the Cancer Center (http://cancer.unm.edu/), the Clinical and Translational Science Center (http://hsc.unm.edu/research/ctsc/), and the NM Cares Health Disparities Center (http://hsc.unm.edu/programs/nmcareshd). Position Title: as Chief of the Division of Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and Preventive Medicine

Duties & Responsibilities: The University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center, Department of Internal Medicine, seeks a faculty member to serve as Chief of the Division of Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and Preventive Medicine. This position is at the Associate or Full Professor rank and Tenure track.

Position Qualifications: Minimum Requirements: (1) a Ph.D. in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Services or a closely related field or M.D. with post-graduate training in one of these areas; (2) peer-reviewed research publications in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Services or in a closely related field (3) record of extramural funding and peer-reviewed publications in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Services or closely related field; and 4) must be eligible to work in US. Desirable Qualifications: 1) experience mentoring junior and midcareer researchers; 2) demonstrated administrative leadership experience; and 3) experience developing education and training programs in epidemiology, biostatistics, health services or preventive medicine.

Salary Range: Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience and education.
