Position Title:
Teaching track positions in Statistics
Duties & Responsibilities: The
Department of Statistics and Applied Probability, National University
of Singapore, invites applications for teaching track positions in
Statistics. The appointments can be at the level of Lecturer, Senior
Lecturer or Associate Professor depending on qualifications and
experience. The appointment is tenable for three years beginning on 1
July 2013, or a mutually agreeable date, and is renewable pending
satisfactory performance. The appointed person will have both the
ability to teach statistics in an interesting way to large classes and
audiences without much background in statistics, as well as the
flexibility to teach higher level courses in probability and
statistics. Duties include lecturing, conducting tutorials, and
supervision of projects.
Position Qualifications:
Applicants should have a PhD in Statistics or closely related field and teaching experience.
