Company Information: The University of South Carolina's main campus is located in the state capital, close to the mountains and the coast. The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching has designated the University of South Carolina as one of only 73 public and 32 private academic institutions with “very high research activity” and also lists USC as having strong focus on community engagement. Position Title: Professor in Quantitative Psychology

Duties & Responsibilities: The University of South Carolina invites inquiries, nominations, and applications for a tenured faculty position at the rank of professor in the area of quantitative psychology. Quantitative psychology is an emerging area of strength at USC, consisting of a core of four early to mid-career quantitative psychologists who have productive programs of research in the assessment of differential effects, longitudinal design, mediation analyses, neuroimaging applications, and randomized trials. The department seeks to add a senior faculty member to provide leadership, enhance opportunities for graduate level training, and raise the national profile of the quantitative area.

Position Qualifications: Applicants should be at the level of professor or advanced associate professor and have an established research program in quantitative psychology, applied statistics, biostatistics, or a closely related field. The position is open to many different areas of quantitative expertise with the expectation that the applicant’s research focus will complement the substantive research strengths of the department, which include child and family research, cognitive and behavioral neuroscience, health disparities, prevention science, and school psychology. The department is seeking applicants with a history of grant funding and collaboration with diverse research teams including both substantive and quantitative researchers.
