The Fire Department of the City of New York, in collaboration with
faculty from Montefiore Medical Center and the Albert Einstein College
of Medicine conducts ongoing epidemiologic and clinical research on the
health effects of work at the World Trade Center disaster site. Position Title:
Senior biostatistician
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provision of biostatistical expertise in design, evaluation and
analyses of epidemiologic and clinical data; presentation and
publication of findings; collaboration with epidemiologists,
physicians, doctoral level biostatisticians and others.
Position Qualifications:
- MPH or MS with a concentration in biostatistics - Two or more years
of full time employment in an academic or research environment
required. - Excellent SAS programming skills. - Experience in
manipulation and analyses of large, complex databases. - Competent
using survival analysis.
