Position Title:
IT Support Analyst
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provides complex applications support in an academic medical environment in support of research end-user requirements. •Experience with MySQL or other relational databases (PostgreSQL). •Hands on knowledge of programming languages (i.e. PHP, Perl, Java, DotNet) and other web-based applications •Experience with REDCap, Qualtrix, ClinTrials, OpenClinica and other data acquisition tools •SAS experience preferred •Experience with working in Clinical Research and/or Medical Informatics •Design, develop, maintain, and manage Clinical Research and/or Biomedical Informatics databases which include HIPAA protected data •Design and produce data queries and reports •Provide data acquisition platform training to members of scientific teams as required •Good oral and written communication skills •Capability to work in a team as well as the ability to solve problems independently. •Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to complete tasks with minimal supervision. •Ability to collaborate with clinicians and researchers in an academic medical environment.
Position Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field and Four (4) years of related experience or equivalent combination of Education/experience. Ability to collaborate with clinicians and researchers in an academic medical environment.
