Position Title: Assistant Professor

Duties & Responsibilities: The Department of Statistics anticipates a tenure-track position in Computational Statistics with an emphasis on data mining, data visualization, spatial statistics, machine learning, image analysis, neuroscience, or related areas. The starting date is August, 2013. Appointments at the assistant professor level are preferred, but exceptional senior candidates will be considered.

Position Qualifications: Applicants must have earned a doctorate in statistics, biostatistics, or closely related field at the time of appointment.

Salary Range: Competitive salary is commensurate with education and experience.
