The University of South Carolina’s Arnold School of Public Health is seeking applicants for a MS level Biostatistician at the Biostatistics Collaborative Research Center (BCRC) in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. BCRC provides core facilities and expertise to health sciences researchers across a broad spectrum of disciplines. Such support includes collaboration and consultation on biostatistics methods, data management, and data coordination for health sciences research at the University of South Carolina, partner institutions, and research clients, while stimulating original methodological research. Position Title:
MS level Biostatistician
Duties & Responsibilities:
The responsibilities include data management and statistical analysis for multiple projects and working with research teams to develop manuscripts for publication. Additional duties may include helping to write data management, quality control, and analysis sections of grant proposals, and assisting other BCRC activities.
Position Qualifications:
The successful candidate is expected to have a master’s degree in biostatistics or related fields with suitable experience in data management and analysis for public health or clinical studies, SAS programming skill, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
