Duties & Responsibilities:
A postdoctoral position is available in the Department of Health Studies at The University of Chicago. The position involves methodological and applied research in statistical methods in high dimensional data and survival data analysis. Examples include developing statistical and computational methods for screening image-based bio-markers for breast cancer and joint modeling of longitudinal and survival outcome.
Position Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications: 1. PhD in statistics, biostatistics, computer science or other quantitative field. 2. Strong programming skills in R, matlab, and/or C.
