Associate or Full Professor of Statistics
Duties & Responsibilities:
UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS AT URBANA-CHAMPAIGN COLLEGE OF LIBERAL ARTS AND SCIENCES Department of Statistics - EXTENDED Applications are invited for a tenured associate professor or full professor position (100% for 9 months). Target start date is August 16, 2013 but is negotiable. Salary is competitive. Applicants must have a PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field. All areas of Statistics are welcome. Excellence in scholarship and a strong record of leadership and mentoring students are of primary importance. Applicants should have a demonstrated ability to secure external research funding, and should be experienced in teaching courses in theoretical and applied statistics.
