Assistant Professor in Statistics (Computational Biology)
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Department of Statistics at Colorado State University invites applications for a tenure track faculty position, starting Fall 2013. The position is expected to be at the Assistant Professor level. A Ph.D. in statistics or a related field and a commitment to high-quality research in statistics and excellence in teaching are required. The position is in the Department of Statistics. A record of statistical research with relevance to biological sciences is required. The emphasis of this search is computational biology and bioinformatics. This position is part of the College of Natural Sciences cluster hire in computational biology with two additional positions advertised by the departments of Biology and Computer Science (one position in each of these departments).
