Position Title:
statistical programmer
Duties & Responsibilities:
Job Summary: Designs and applies standard computer programs for statistical data collection, analysis, evaluation and graphical presentation. Creates customized computer programs for general use and specific projects. Develops and maintains code for emerging statistical techniques in one or more languages. Job Responsibilities: Under the direction of supervisor or mentor, drafts basic statistical program according to parameters and sample code; interprets biostatistics, epidemiological or general research results; assembles data from multiple sources, resolves data programs and performs general data management tasks.
Position Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. Associates Degree and 2 years of experience may offset degree requirement. Knowledge of Web techniques and basic programming is preferred.
