PROFESSORSHIP IN STATISTICS, Tenure track
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Department of Mathematics and Systems Analysis (mathsys.aalto.fi/en) invites candidates with an excellent research and teaching record to apply for the tenure track professor position in the Statistics. The main research fields of the Department are mathematical analysis, numerical analysis, stochastic analysis, discrete mathematics and systems science and operations research.
Position Qualifications:
The preference will be given to the candidates having research and teaching experience in statistical methods including modeling, algorithms and relevant applications. A relevant PhD is required. Emphasis in the selection will be put on the merits in research, teaching, academic leadership and activity in the scientific community.
