Position Title:
Biostatistician - Part Time
Duties & Responsibilities:
Winthrop University Hospital Research Institute is actively recruiting a biostatistician to work in the Biostatistics Department to support clinical and basic investigators across the hospital. The successful candidate will have a master’s degree in statistics or biostatistics with at least 5 years' experience or a doctorate with at least 1 year's experience. The experience must include collaborations with clinicians or life scientists. The biostatistician will be expected to provide statistical consultation and support to attending physicians, residents, and fellows on their independent research projects; help prepare data analysis plans for research protocols and grant applications; and give periodic presentations on statistical methods. The biostatistician should possess demonstrated skills in using statistical software such as R, SAS, or SPSS.
