Position Title:
Assistant Professor - Tenure Track
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Toledo invites applications for a tenure-track position in Applied Statistics or Biostatistics to commence Fall 2013. We are seeking exceptionally well-qualified individuals for a position intended to foster connections with the Department of Environmental Sciences, through the School for Biosphere Restoration Research. Preference will be given to applicants with a record of collaboration in engineering, science, pharmacy, or medicine. Duties include teaching courses at the undergraduate and graduate level, conducting and supervising research, and engaging in departmental and professional service. The teaching load is consistent with other doctoral granting departments. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in research and teaching, and must have a Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Statistics, or Mathematics at the time of appointment.
