There are extensive collaborations between computational and experimental biologists. We are also an NIH Center for Excellence in Genomic Sciences. Position Title: Research Associate

Duties & Responsibilities: The candidates will focus on using high-throughput genomic data to study disease mechanisms and disease connections. The data will include those from our experimental collaborators and those in the public repositories. Position Qualifications: Candidates with PhD in computational biology and bioinformatics, statistics, and computer science with an interest in biological and medical problems are encouraged to apply. Strong computer programming (C/C++, Java, perl/python, Matlab, R), statistical, and machine learning skills are essential. Prior experience dealing with large scale genomic and/or proteomic data is a strong plus.
