Position Title:
Non-Tenure-track Assistant Teaching Professor in Mathematics
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Missouri-Kansas City seeks applicants for a nine-month non-tenure-track (NTT) assistant teaching professor position (00056607), to start on August 15, 2013. Candidates must demonstrate strong potential to succeed in teaching. This hire is expected to take a major role in the department's teaching, administering, and implementation of redesigned mathematics and statistics courses, as well as to teach other undergraduate math courses. Service to the department and university is expected. When needed, this new hire is expected to teach some upper division undergraduate and graduate math courses. Teaching load is to be determined by the department chair in accordance with need of the department and college policy.

Candidates must have a Ph. D. in Mathematics by August 2013.
