Position Title: Assistant Professor, tenure-track

Duties & Responsibilities: The successful applicant will teach six hours per week and is expected to conduct vigorous research.

Position Qualifications: The Department of Mathematics at the University of Mississippi seeks to fill one tenure-track assistant professor position by August 2013. All candidates should have PhD in Statistics or related fields by August 15, 2013. All areas of statistics are welcome. Preference will be given to candidates in Nonparametric Statistics, Robust Statistics, Time Series, and Data Mining.
