Position Title: Assistant Professor

Duties & Responsibilities: This position includes affiliation with a proposed cross-campus Institute for Genomics. The new faculty is expected to demonstrate excellence in methodological research on statistical modeling and inference in genomics, teaching at both graduate and undergraduate levels, and supervision of students.

Position Qualifications: Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in Statistics or Biostatistics. Equivalent foreign degrees are acceptable. A strong focus on interdisciplinary research and strong interpersonal and communication skills are preferred. The preferred candidate will demonstrate the ability to contribute through research, teaching, and/or public engagement to the diversity and excellence of the learning experience.

Salary Range: Salary is competitive based on experience and qualifications.
