Position Title: Associate/Full Professor

Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will show support (or potential for support) from one or more of the major funding agencies. Commitment to teaching, supervision of students, and service are also required.

Position Qualifications: A Ph.D. in statistics is required with a strong background in both probability and statistics, together with a research record of demonstrated excellence. Preferred research areas include: genomics, clinical trials, high dimensional data, Bayesian inference, machine learning and data mining, image analysis and signal detection, unsupervised learning and clustering, nanotechnology, nonparametric functional data analysis, statistical process control and monitoring, forecasting models, or atmospheric and environmental sciences.
