Position Title:
Tenure Track Position in Statistics
Duties & Responsibilities:
Located within the Tulane University School of Science and Engineering the Department of Mathematics offers degree programs at the undergraduate masters and doctoral levels. Faculty members are expected to maintain independent research programs and to seek extramural funding. We welcome applicants with interdisciplinary research interests. Opportunities for collaboration extend across the physical social and biological sciences. The teaching load for research-active faculty is three courses per year with a reduction to two courses for junior hires. Additional responsibilities include advising undergraduate and graduate students and participating in departmental and university service.
Position Qualifications:
Applicants should have a PhD is Statistics by May 2013. While the position is at the Assistant Professor level well-qualified candidates at all levels may be considered.
