The newly named School of Public Health-Bloomington is building on the traditions of its 65 year-old predecessor school and is hiring faculty and staff to join the newly created Department of Epidemiology/Biostatistics and the Department of Environmental Health in addition to continuing recruitment in the Departments of Applied Health Science Kinesiology and Recreation Park and Tourism Studies. Its noted successes include its top graduate programs distinguished faculty and accomplished researchers. The IU School of Public Health-Bloomington will have a rural community focus that will emphasize its strengths in social and behavioral health environmental health epidemiology and community-based research and practice.
Position Title:
Multiple Assistant – Associate – Full Professor positions
Duties & Responsibilities:
The successful candidates will provide evidence of the potential to secure funded research grants conduct research write for peer reviewed scholarly publications and teach undergraduate and graduate classes in the candidates’ specified area of expertise.
Position Qualifications:
Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in at least one of the professional disciplines (biostatistics or epidemiology) from an accredited school of public health school of medicine or related educational institution a record demonstrating the potential for significant scholarly achievement and an ability to collaborate with others.
Salary Range:
Salary is competitive depending upon qualifications and experience.
