Position Title: Assistant Professor

Duties & Responsibilities: The Department of Mathematics at Texas State University is seeking to hire a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Statistics starting Fall 2013.

Position Qualifications: Requirements for this position are a Doctorate in Statistics or a related field with a strong promise of productive research in Statistics and excellence in teaching. Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching college statistics and/or mathematics, experience in applications to behavioral sciences, the potential to obtain external funding and the ability to contribute to departmental missions.

Salary Range: commensurate with qualifications
