Position Title: Biostatistician

Duties & Responsibilities: The Quantitative Sciences Unit in the Department of Medicine, Division of General Medical Disciplines at Stanford University is seeking a highly motivated, hard-working and professional statistical analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will join a vibrant team of academic statisticians and database experts working on a wide variety of collaborative projects in medicine. This position holds excellent career development opportunities. The statistician will do statistical programming, data analysis, data management, and oral and written dissemination of results. An additional role will be to consult with medical investigators independently. Required: • The applicant must hold a masters degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field and have a minimum of one year of work related experience. • The applicant must have strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. • Experience with multiple statistical programming languages such as SAS and R is required. Desired: • The applicant should have at least 2 years of experience doing collaborative biostatistics.
