Position Title:
Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Statistics
Duties & Responsibilities:
Statistics, Middletown Campus: Assistant Professor, tenure-track position, to begin Fall, 2013, to teach undergraduate statistics courses, both classroom-based and online formats; design and teach interdisciplinary courses in the Bachelor of Integrative Studies program; provide service, including statistical consultation, to the campus and community; advise students; conduct scholarship and publish. Other opportunities may include teaching courses and directing graduate research in Miami’s master’s degree program in Statistics, collaborative scholarship with colleagues in the natural, social, and applied sciences on all campuses, meaningful and ongoing service activities involving community engagement.
Position Qualifications:
Require: doctorate in Statistics or Biostatistics by date of appointment; an established record or demonstrated potential in areas of teaching, scholarship, and service.
