Position Title: Assistant or Associate Professor in Statistics

Duties & Responsibilities: Teaching, service and research in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics. Candidates in any area of statistics or biostatistics are encouraged to apply. Opportunities exist for interdisciplinary research and consulting in applied areas such as agricultural sciences, forestry, geosciences, remote sensing, and biomedical research. Teach undergraduate and graduate level courses. Develop a substantial research program in one or more areas of statistics or biostatistics. Provide direction and effective leadership for M.S. and Ph.D. students. Engage in departmental, university, and scientific community service functions.

Position Qualifications: Doctoral degree in statistics or biostatistics, demonstrated success in research and a committment to effective graduate and undergraduate teaching. Experience directing theses and dissertations.
