Position Title:
Assistant Professor of Statistics
Duties & Responsibilities:
Loyola University Chicago, College of Arts and Sciences, Department of
Mathematics and Statistics invites applications for a full-time
tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Statistics
beginning Fall 2013. The department has undergraduate degree programs
in statistics, biostatistics, actuarial science, and an applied
statistics masters program. For more details about the department,

involves teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the
department's statistics programs, as well as engaging in a productive
program of research and service at the department, college, and
university levels. Candidates for the position must clearly demonstrate
the potential for excellence in research and teaching and have a record
of (or clear potential for) distinguished scholarship, and student
mentorship.
Position Qualifications:
The successful applicant will have a Ph.D. degree in Statistics or a related field and a
strong commitment to excellence in teaching at all levels.
