Position Title: Two Assistant Professor Positions

Duties & Responsibilities: The Department of Mathematics at Howard University invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the Assistant Professor level to begin in Fall 2013. Applications in all areas of mathematics will be considered with priority given to Statistics and Applied Mathematics. We are seeking mathematicians with outstanding research records. A history of good teaching is required. Application must include the following: curriculum vitae, a publication list that includes abstracts, and three letters of recommendation. Consideration of applications will begin on December 31, 2012. Applications received after that date will be considered until the positions are filled.
