Position Title: Faculty

Duties & Responsibilities: The Department of Quantitative Health Sciences (QHS) at the Cleveland Clinic main campus is searching for a doctoral level biostatistician to collaborate with researchers in the Taussig Cancer Institute as part of a growing team. The successful candidate will join an active group of about 80 QHS biostatisticians, analysts, and programmers working in a wide range of clinical areas and statistical methodologies. Candidates should have considerable experience collaborating on clinical research in an academic health care setting, with examples of creative analytic approaches to complex problems in health care. Excellent academic writing and communication skills must be clearly demonstrated, with verbal proficiency in the English language required. The successful candidate will provide active biostatistical support within oncological research with focus on clinical research in benign and malignant hematology. The level of appointment will be commensurate with experience of the candidate. Some teaching of our Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine medical students as well as oncology residents and fellows is expected. The candidate will be expected to help write collaborative research proposals, grant applications, and manuscripts. Some independent PhD level methodological research in a related area is expected.

Position Qualifications: PhD in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or related discipline.
