Position Title: Senior SAS Programmer

Duties & Responsibilities: BBA has an opening for a SAS Programmer located in Northboro, MA within the Biostatistics group. The Sas Programmer will assist the group in preparing reports and analysis for our clients. This is an exciting time to join our team and bring your strong programming and communication skills to a growing department! Review CRF’s to ensure consistency with protocol and adequacy to collect the data to meet the objectives defined in the protocol. Review CRF annotations and database data dictionary to ensure programming accuracy and efficiency. Utilize study protocols and statistical analysis plans to review and prepare analysis data set specifications and analysis output displays. Interface with data management and clinical research to identify and program stats edit checks and study management reports using SAS. Write SAS programs to generate tables, listings, and figures and analysis datasets. Perform validation of the programmed analysis datasets, tables, listing and figures. Perform analyses defined in the statistical analysis plan as well as adhoc analyses as requested. Participate in the preparation of clinical and statistical summary reports. Perform statistical QC of final reports. Assist Biostatistics department in maintaining 21CFR Part 11 compliance and in meeting CDISC requirements. Assist Biostatistics department in gaining process efficiencies and standardization.

Position Qualifications: Skills/Requirements BS in Computer Science, Statistics, Life Science, or other health related field; MS or MPH preferred Ability to communicate with other departments to coordinate trial needs and make improvements to processes. 5+ years experience in Biostatistical analysis and SAS programming for clinical trials in the medical device, pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment.
