Position Title:
Postdoctoral Researcher in Statistical Genomics
Duties & Responsibilities:
We invite applications for a postdoctoral researcher position in statistical genomics at the Ohio State University (OSU). The position, immediately available, requires a Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related areas. The successful candidate is expected to carry out original research in the development of statistical methods and applications of the methods to study chromatin structure in cancer and other samples. This is an extremely exciting area of epigenomics thanks to the availability of sequencing based data. Other than the primary responsibility, there are many other opportunities for individual and joint research, especially those in connection with the OSU Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Mathematical Biosciences Institute (http://mbi.osu.edu). Initial appointment of this position is for 2 years.
