Position Title:
Associate or Full Professor (clinical track)
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Department of Biostatistics of Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health seeks applicants for a faculty position in Biostatistics who will be able to conduct research in cancer, adaptive clinical trials, and non-inferiority trials; collaborate with medical and public health researchers, and teach at least one course per semester. This is a non-tenured, senior level position. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
Position Qualifications:
--Doctorate or terminal professional degree. --Must have 10+ years of experience in teaching, clinical consultation, managing departmental and administrative tasks, and have Cancer Center/clinical trial experience. --Must have a strong and demonstrated translational science track record. --The department focuses on teaching, research and professional experience in biostatistics. Excellent mathematical skills, communication skills, and collaborative skill are required. --Preference will be given to applicants in the area of cancer research and clinical trials and to those candidates who have the ability secure independent funding.
