Position Title:
Performance Data Analyst ( a 3 year grant funded position)
Duties & Responsibilities:
Candidate should have strong experience in software used in data analysis and presentation such as Excel, Access, Crystal Reports, SPSS, SAS, and/or STATA. Candidate should be able to manipulate data to create descriptive reports from large data sets. Experience in test item analysis (e.g. discrimination indices, point-biserial correlations, distracter effectiveness) and test construction preferred. Will need to assume responsibility for the interpretation of student achievement and test results, and prepare verbal, written and visual reports for internal and external audiences. Will compile and verify data for the production of regular and/or special statistical reports from various sources.
Position Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Statistics, Operations Research or related field required. Emphasis in higher-level mathematics, statistical data analysis, assessment, measurement and/or computer programming preferred. • Five (5) years experience with the development, implementation, analysis and reporting of evaluation and research projects preferred.
Salary Range:
$63,952-$98,010 (based upon experience and qualifications)
