Position Title: Epidemiologist for BRFSS

Duties & Responsibilities: This position is responsible for performing data management, analysis, and reporting of data from statewide population-based health surveys, particularly the Montana Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS); managing complex datasets to monitor trends in risk factors, disease, and health outcomes; and performing advanced statistical tests to produce topical analytical reports focusing on specific public health issues and assist the BRFSS program director in overall management of the program, including survey methodology, design, and information dissemination related to grant activities.

Position Qualifications: Master’s degree in epidemiology, statistics, or public health with major coursework in epidemiology AND three years of experience or training (including internships) in disease surveillance and epidemiology; OR Bachelor's degree in health sciences or a closely related degree AND four years of experience in public health surveillance and epidemiology.

Salary Range: $43,666.00 - $54,582.00 Yearly
